The addition of immigration practice is a natural expansion of our current services. Our partner, Josh Kaplan, has been practicing in the field of corporate law, entertainment law and music management for over 15 years. He has helped many creatives, musicians, and artists to showcase their talent in the United States. Our partner, Brian Troglia, has over 20 years of expertise in the restaurant and hospitality industries. Immigrants play a key role in the industries’ growth and diversity, and they are often the employer of choice for immigrants who come to the U.S. in search of new opportunities. Additionally, both Josh and Brian have extensive legal experience in general corporate law, private investments, corporate/capital structuring, and assisted in finding creative ways for fundraising including the EB-5 Investor Visa Program. Last but not least, our firm was built on entrepreneurship. Our members have owned a variety of companies, including bars, restaurants, management companies and tech startups. Xiao Lu
We are pleased to announce that Xiao Lu has joined our firm in Chicago as our Immigration Specialist. Xiao came to the United States to earn his Master of Laws degree from Northwestern University School of Law. His immigration work is informed by assisting a diverse base of clients with immigrant visa (Green Card), investor visa (EB-5), U.S. citizenship, and high-volume nonimmigrant visa filings.
